Dr. Shari Ramsaran

Dr. Shari Ramsaran was exposed to the corridors of laboratory medicine since childhood and it’s safe to say ‘it’s in her blood’. She holds a strong dedication to providing the absolute best to every patient and to offering first-world possibilities in healthcare. The majority of her medical training occurred in Ireland and the United Kingdom. She gained her medical degree at The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and has remained a very proud alumni member. She then pursued Clinical Biochemistry in Manchester at the University of Manchester following which she gained clinical laboratory experience and was instrumental in the establishment and maintenance of standards of covid-19 testing across several private healthcare entities in Trinidad and Tobago and several Caribbean islands. She later attended the prestigious Imperial College London where she completed a degree in Molecular Medicine and participated in research learning advanced molecular techniques and analytical methods. She consistently reminds that the patient is the most important part of any practice and that there is no room for mediocrity in healthcare.

Future goals strive towards offering an even wider scope in Molecular Medicine and making this service available and accessible for all in Trinidad and Tobago.
